Omkarmusik goes Omkarmusic

omkarmusik.info goes omkarmusic.com

In a few weeks the domain omkarmusik.info
will be redirected to the new home omkarmusic.com

The main purpose is a faster server
for the multimedia events embedded on this site
and more included traffic.

The new site hoster also offered
a .com domain and so I decided
to pick up one and change the music domain
into www.omkarmusic.com

During this time the sites will be parallel online

with similar content, news and topics.

The site omkarmusic.com needs some time
to be filled with all addons currently present
at omkarmusik.info, so please be patient.

Along with the new domain comes a new design
and a new site structure,
which I hope to be more user friendly and transparent.
Reports of disfunctions on the new site are always welcome.

I had an itch to do something with the logo,

because the current (now old) does not represent
the variety of music I`d like to go.
It was somehow fixed and associated to an asian kind of style
and I had musical travels to Africa already, so `this was not it`.

The new logo is now focused on the mere (pleasureable) act of listening
rather than on what kind of style or genre to expect.

Changing the logo was changing color

and that was changing the whole design.
Changing the complete design
was also changing the look and feel, the coding of the site.

Waves upon waves when a stone falls into water ...

If you have taken in the omkarmusic rss newsfeeds
it`s a good idea to add the newsfeeds of omkarmusic.com
until the move is completed and officially announced.
