New Band Friendship on myspace.comI joined the community of myspace.com a while ago
with a little corner introducing myself as a musician.
By the time some friendship invitations happended to appear
with other bands or single artists and radio station.
Latest friendship I would recommend to have a listen to.
Beautiful music and the description of what they are doing
fits perfectly the size. |

I recently received an angry mail and guestbook entry
from a Joomla! community site saying it was overflooded
more than 70 times with my info mail about the Joomla! song.
We have had contact and I have no idea what has happened.
Now, to make it clear once and for all:the only valid and authorized info mail about the Joomla! song
that has been initiated by me
is when you have received 1x the info
directly on the edit - or conatct formular of your site.
Any other kind of meassage concerning the song is not done by me.
I contacted sites directly on their formular
to have it as an indication signature that it is originally done by me
and to make sure I posted one time.
There is no mass mail function running,
neither on my pc nor on my Joomla! installation.
Again:
An initiated info mail by me is only valid
when received by your edit-/ contact formular one time.
I feel sorry for this guy, because of his annoyance
he is not open to the song and might never ever listen to it.
This is exactly why I did not send info more than once. |

Joomla! Song available on Saturday November 4th 2006The new song Joomla! will be downloadable on mp3 portals on November 4th. I will set downloads focused on two big mp3 portals
to give the song a chance to become part of the top ten by your downloads and votes.
The decision gone to soundclick.com and mp3.de .
So you can download from server which is closest to your aerea.
Other mp3 portals will of course keep the song as well.
The song will have Joomla! description and ,if possible, link to community.

Free Songs of Omkar now licensed under Creative CommonsThe free downloadable songs at various mp3 portals are now licensed under the terms of creative commons. The very point I have done this is because of radio stations asking for permissions to play on air.
Now, the license allows every non commercial use of the free songmaterial.
This goes to private users or using as well as to non commercial radiostations or non commercial use on air. To users it clearifys what is allowed and what not.There are no restrictions for example in what way the song is played,
it can be at home, in the car or wherever. No restriction as it is with some other models. For radiostations there is no need to ask for permission,because the license allows it per se as long as it is not used in a commercial way.

Translation now available on omkarmusik.infoÜbersetzung der Homepage omkarmusik.info jetzt möglich For those who have had problems with plain English site a new translation help is online. It contains modules for up to 9 different languages. Musik is one side as an universal language, but sometimes it`s helpfull to know what a site is talking about. Please understand this is a google online translation service and not pre- translated by me. The google service translates literally and you will find some mambo jambo salad out there, but it should give an idea what the meaning of some articles is. The languages are represented by flags of the supported countries. The good thing is google will lead you straight foreward and translates immediately as you browse the site.
