At myspace she is presenting her art work
and I felt immediately attracted to her tremendous creativity.
She attached a pair of her paintings on her comments
which can be done at myspace sites
and one day I had the spontaneous feeling
I`d like to write a song on it.
I am not very much an adept of paintings at all
so I wrote the song as I was able to recognize the paintings.
First impression was
when you look closely to the pair of her paintings,
your eyes can`t stand still.
There is a constant move of the eyes
and you cannot rest
in order to get the content of the pictures in total.
So I opened up the song with some vital moving mallets.
On the next step,
when you move away from the drawings,
they slowly appear to have a structure and warmth.
Having this structure on my mind
I started to give the song a structure
and embedded the opening mallets into it.
And seeing Sarah on a picture of herself
drawing with earphones
moved me to some sort of up tempi "happy hour" song structure.
After listening a while to the complete composition
I had the feeling I`d like to give her
a five minute easy hearted up tempi caffeine
when she has the walkman on and is painting.
So nothing really serious about this song,
just a song for a friend
who impressed me with a vast amount of creativity.
