It`s not an album, it`s getting music diaries

I decided to continue producing artists and bands in 2012
and because of the time consuming aspects,
an entire solo album seems not to be an option this year.
So I was thinking about an appropriate format
to publish tracks step by step instead of all at once.
The idea of opening up music diaries was born,
namely "Hamburg Diaries Vol.1" and subsequent releases "Vol.2" etc.
Back in the days when doing writings, a diary was an option
to fill it up with entries of events and happenings
and the idea came on my mind:
"what about filling up a diary with music entries,
with tracks already composed for albums ?"
And I pretty much liked the idea immediately,
it is the right format to publish tracks one after the other.
By overlooking the material I have for a diary,
it became clear I can go into the plural "diaries",
there is enough to fill several volumes.
Because of the fact the current location of music productions is Hamburg, Germany,
I simply reflect this with the title "Hamburg Diaries" and subsequent Volumes.
"Hamburg Diaries" does only reflect the location of production,
not the musical content.
There will be no tracks with specific instruments or local coloration
to represent Hamburg per se.
One diary will be completed after around 10-11 entries (tracks)
and a subsequent volume number takes all under one roof.
So the first diary will be "Hamburg Diaries Vol.1"
containing around 11 tracks.
The tracks will be published as loose diary entries within 2012,
and released one by one as digital delivery in MP3 format,
available at the omkarmusic shop.
After completion of all "Vol.1" tracks,
the first Volume of the "Hamburg Diaries"
will be released as physical units, CD`s.
More details on purchasing tracks
and specials about this format coming soon.
