Samplitude Pro by Magix

The new heart of my recordings, editing and mixing,
I just have it a few month now.

Pretty much equipped with everything needed
to w alk through a complete high end production.

Exact and neutral sound without any phase issue,
low latency engine with fast performance
and enhanced with the Analogue Modelling Suite Plug-Ins by Sascha Eversmeier.

Like many users of the Pro version,

I started with the limited SE version (Samplitude 9SE in my case)
and I immediately had a good workflow with it.

Recording and positioning of the material,
zooming in and out, copy, cut, automation
was a breeze, and even more with the memorized basic shortcut keys.

Basically, I never had to think about crossfading,
since every project can have auto crossfade rules.

The mixer window was a pure `aha` experience.

From top to bottom clearly structured
and it displays the `analoguish` look and feel of a hardware mixer.

While mixing,
I was able to play around with all kind of tests on
arrangement, editing and automation,
since the work is non-destructive and can be undone or reset
at any point of the work.

What makes Samplitude unique to me,
is the feature of object editing.
I.e. I can cut objects,
which are the representing references of the real audio files,
and add just on the particular object of choice an aux send, let`s say a delay.
Pretty cool.

My first release, recorded, mixed and mastered with the 9SE version
was the free song "Delivered Free".

You will notice the much more improved quality
compared to previous free releases.

All free songs until this release where mixed on the same
tiny monitors, the Studiophile SP-5B by M-Audio,
and I am sure, you will hear the difference.

While mixing the free song, I came across the free vst plugins
by Sascha Eversmeier at digitalfishphones.com ,
(it was an option to use only freeware on the free song),
and I was impressed by the quality and concept
and as far as I know,
they are the most known and used amongst freeware plugins.

I was excited to see Sascha Eversmeier hired by Magix,
the distributor of Samplitude Pro.

The result of his work are the additional plugins shipped with Samplitude Pro,
namely AM|Suite, VE|Suite, VariVerb Pro and the brilliant limiter AM|Munition.

So aside the Samplitude Pro native plugins like

Sidechain Compressor, Multiband Compressor, Multiband Enhancer, Vocoder, Amp Simulation,
Room Simulation, Distortion, Delay, Reverb, Sound Cloner,
the very well known high quality Eq`s and FFT-Filter and and and ...,

Samplitude Pro is a heavy loaded allrounder by itself
and with the addition of plugins by Sascha Eversmeier a killer DAW.

Just to mention the Visualisation sections like Spectroscope, Peakmeter with RMS , K-System ...

Now, this is my impression after all
and I think I have discovered maybe 40% of the posibilities
to work with Samplitude Pro,
but even this percentage corner of knowledge enables me to produce
and burn upcoming projects.
